چکیده

Nowadays as the world population has become more interconnected and is relying on faster transportation methods, simplified connections and shorter commuting times, we witness a rapid increase in human mobility. In this situation unveiling and understanding human mobility patterns have become a crucial issue to support decisions and prediction activities when managing the complexity of the today social organization. In practice, the mobility pattern of each individual person consists of the sequence of visited places. Those places and their correlations represent the foundation of most modelling and activity researches for understanding human mobility. Even though visited places underpin almost the majority of works in this field, their features remain largely unknown because in previous works, they have been mainly considered as uncharacterized spot points in an area or social gathering places, without considering the roles and importance of places to the behavior of each single user.

Understanding Temporal Human Mobility Patterns in a City by Mobile Cellular Data Mining, Case Study: Tehran City

Recent studies have shown that urban complex behaviors like human mobility should be examined by newer and smarter methods. The ubiquitous use of mobile phones and other smart communication devices helps us use a bigger amount of data that can be browsed by the hours of the day, the days of the week, geographic area, meteorological conditions, and so on. In this article, mobile cellular data mi...

O-10: Formation and Molecular Composition of The Sperm Head to Tail Coupling Apparatus

Background According to a worldwide survey in 2010 infertility affects 48.5 million of couples. In roughly half of the cases infertility is provoked by the male mate. Thus, a significant percentage of young men are infertile but the underlying causes are mostly unknown. Male fertility and reproduction success critically depends on proper formation of the mature sperm. Transmission of the geneti...

Mapping DNA cleavage by the Type ISP restriction-modification enzymes following long-range communication between DNA sites in different orientations

The prokaryotic Type ISP restriction-modification enzymes are single-chain proteins comprising an Mrr-family nuclease, a superfamily 2 helicase-like ATPase, a coupler domain, a methyltransferase, and a DNA-recognition domain. Upon recognising an unmodified DNA target site, the helicase-like domain hydrolyzes ATP to cause site release (remodeling activity) and to then drive downstream translocat...

Double-stranded DNA breaks hidden in the neutral Comet assay suggest a role of the sperm nuclear matrix in DNA integrity maintenance.

We used a mouse model in which sperm DNA damage was induced to understand the relationship of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) breaks to sperm chromatin structure and to the Comet assay. Sperm chromatin fragmentation (SCF) produces dsDNA breaks located on the matrix attachment regions, between protamine toroids. In this model, epididymal sperm induced to undergo SCF can religate dsDNA breaks while v...

CRG Index: A More Sensitive Ht-Index for Enabling Dynamic Views of Geographic Features

The ht-index is a recently proposed tool for capturing dynamic views of the evolution process of geographic features, but the htindex is not sensitive to small changes during this process. To address this problem, an improved ht-index, a cumulative rate of growth (CRG) index, was proposed. Compared to the ht-index, the CRG index is more sensitive to changes during the evolution process of geogr...
